Boo-Yaa! Kid Rock Gets Sued For Battery Again Monday March 24, 2008 @ 05:30 PM By: ChartAttack.com Staff

Less than three weeks after pleading not guilty to a battery charge related to last October's brawl at an Atlanta, Ga. Waffle House, and returning to another Georgia franchise location to sign autographs to raise funds for a homeless shelter and try and show people that he's not a total dick, Kid Rock was sued for battery on Friday by three men who allege that he went nuts on them after requesting autographs two years ago.
Carlos Bonilla, Michael Medlin and Jose Perez claim that Rock and members of hip-hop group Boo-Yaa Tribe punched, kicked and beat them after they asked for autographs early on the morning of March 22, 2006 outside Teddy's, a Hollywood, Calif. nightclub affiliated with the Roosevelt Hotel. Their suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, names Rock (real name Robert Ritchie), the Roosevelt Hotel, Teddy's, Lost Highway Touring and the six brothers in the Boo-Yaa Tribe (Paul, Ted, Donald, Roscoe, Danny and David Devoux) as defendants in charges that also include negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and malice.
These suits rarely come without a price tag attached and, in this case, the three men are seeking $15 million U.S. in damages for wage loss, loss of use of property, hospital and medical expenses, property and general damages, and loss of earning capacity.
The lawsuit alleges that Rock and the Boo-Yaa boys "assaulted and battered" the three plaintiffs, who were "left on the ground seriously injured as Kid Rock and his entourage drove off" in their limousine with their cameras and bags.
The trio also claimed that security outside the venue was lax and created a "dangerous and hazardous condition" that permitted the beatings and thefts to take place.
Rock's rap sheet is longer than the list of toppings you'll find on a Waffle House menu and the hairs found on the chins of many of the waitresses who work there.
